The Vice-Chancellor Professor Uchenna Eleazar Ikonne , in company of the Army Commander Isiukwuato, DPO Absu Uturu Police Station, Director of Works and Services, The Dean Students Affairs, Hostel Potters and The Students Union Government Excos this morning, moved to Inspect those unauthorised entrances used by trespassers to access the University environment..
He assured the students that the Management will as a matter of urgency block those entrances to avoid further trespass.
He thanked the joint security operatives for their quick response towards security issues and reassured them that all they need to keep them fit for the job will be made available.
He also used the opportunity to Inspect the ongoing renovation of the Vice-Chancellor's quarters and re-construction of the school field respectively where he addressed the students on sporting activities.
Responding on behalf of the Students, the SUG president Comr Alugo Victor thanked the Vice-Chancellor for his unalloyed love towards them and reassured him of their undiluted loyalty towards his administration.
