BREAKING: Nigeria beat Argentina 4-2

In what analysts said may be a dress rehearsal for Nigeria’s performance in next year’s Russia World Cup, the Super Eagles stunned football superpowers Argentina 4-2 in an international friendly played in Russia.

The Super Eagles came from 0-2 deficit to hand over a memorable defeat to the Messi-less Argentines.
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi and Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho were superb on the attack, with Kelechi reducing the deficit with a curled free kick just before the break.
The Eagles came back in the second half even more determined and put three goals behind the Argentine goalie.
Iwobi had a brace scoring in the 52nd and 73minute, the second via a well placed pass by Ahmed Musa, who came in for Kelechi.
Brian Idowu scored Nigeria’s fourth goal in the 54th minute.
